Perché non possiamo essere cristiani (e meno che mai cattolici)

Da bravo neoilluminista e da estimatore del buon Odifreddi (consiglio in particolare "La repubblica dei numeri" e "Il matematico impertinente") sto apprezzando molto il libro dal cui titolo ho recuperato il nome del post che state leggendo.


Odifreddi sostiene "Il Cristianesimo in generale, e il Cattolicesimo in particolare, non sono (soltanto) fenomeni spirituali, ma interferiscono pesantemente nella vita civile di intere nazioni. L'anticlericalismo, oggi, è più una difesa della laicità dello Stato che un attacco alla religione della Chiesa." e questo, specialmente in momenti come quelli che viviamo, è un vero e proprio dogma!

Come disse Bertrand Russel "di fronte alla porta del progresso c'è un drago di guardia, e questo drago è la religione: per accedere al progresso occorre prima abbattere il drago".
